Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, educator and philosopher with an outspoken opinion and in-depth knowledge about the origin and workings of various languages and their significance in imparting education. He is often referred to as "the father of modern linguistics".
His philosophy on education has guided educators since a long time. His philosophy progresses with time and guides educators towards a more aware way of imparting education and enabling students learn on their own.

The video explains the modern epidemic that has stricken education and suggests a philosophical change in the outlook towards imparting education and connecting it to the end game, if there is a need for any, i.e if education is not an end in itself. It propagates the belief in divergent thinking and inclusive teaching, a concept I believe in myself.

Education in the twenty-first century is challenging due to the following reasons:
1. The unreliable condition of modern day economy
2. The changing nature of traditional jobs
3. The increasing reliance on technology from the big decisions to every day decisions
4. The need to stay connected at all times - raised due to social media
5. The need for globalization while preserving one's cultural identity and uniqueness
